This is the first official appearance of the PS5 Pro, but this time it was hidden under Kojima's jacket as he tried out his new game on it.
Japanese developer posted Hideo Kojima New photo of him (via Zuby_Tech) He is playing his upcoming game Death Stranding 2 on the PS5, but the confusing thing is that he tried to hide the device so that he would not appear in the picture.
As you can see in the image below, Kojima is seen holding the DualSense controller in his hand while trying to play his new game Death Stranding 2, but the controller is connected to a device hidden under a piece of cloth (apparently Kojima's jacket), and it seems that Kojima may have done this intentionally, because he does not want this device to appear in the image.
There is no doubt that what Kojima is hiding is something that he does not want anyone to see, but attaching the DualSense controller to it means that it is a PS5 device, but the latter is announced and exposed, so why is he hiding it from sight? This is because what Kojima is trying to test the game on without appearing in public is in fact the developer's version of the Dev Kit of the mid-life PS5 Pro device.
No doubt about it anymore, but can you guess what the device looks like and how big it is from the image above? It will be a tough test for sleuths looking for a way or loophole that could reveal more details about what Kojima is hiding under his jacket.
Anyway, we recently got new details that talk about the new device from Sony having a cooling system and a power system similar to that found in the current model. However, according to one source, the internal SSD storage unit will have a capacity of 2 TB, but this is what was found in the developer version and we do not know if the final version will have the same capacity or not.
The PS5 Pro is expected to be revealed during the State of Play event, which is believed to be broadcast before the end of next month, September 2024. However, from Sony's side, there are no confirmations about the existence of the device in the first place, although according to some media, it was an open secret among developers behind the doors of Gamescom 2024.
Now, can you tell us what the device looks like from the image Kojima shared with us?
